हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार, इस साल होलिका दहन 7 मार्च 2023 को होगा. जबकि 8 मार्च को होली खेली जाएगी.  होली के आठ दिन पहले होलाष्टक लग जाते हैं. होलाष्टक का समापन होलिका दहन के साथ होता है इसवर्ष 27 फरवरी से होलाष्टक शुरू हो जाएंगे और  7 मार्च तक रहेंगे.  होलाष्टक में न करें ये काम - Not to do in Holashtak 2023:  1. होलाष्टक में शादी-विवाह और सगाई जैसे मांगलिक कार्यों के अलावा मुंडन और नामकरण संस्कार नहीं करने चाहिए. 2. होलाष्टक में भवन निर्माण, वाहन, प्लॉट या किसी प्रॉपर्टी को खरीदना या बेचना वर्जित है. 3. होलाष्टक में भूलकर भी यज्ञ और हवन जैसे कार्य ना करें. 4. किसी नई दुकान का शुभारंभ करने वाले हैं तो होलाष्टक से पहले या बाद में करें. 5. होलाष्टक में सोने या चांदी के आभूषण खरीदने से बचें.
